LS6 intake? Help quick please! what year corvettes came with the LS6 intake manifold? My buddy is selling his intake off of his 97 corvette, is this an LS6?

When he takes the intake manifold (if it hasnt been touched) should have a metal tube running underneath it. Also if you put the intake on a table and you look straight forward with your eyes level to the bottom there should be a GAP that indicates a LS1 vs LS6. Also the ribbing pattern is different.
