Default EGR Problems - No Plugs?

Hi have a car, Trans Am 2000, the "things" on the picture with a red circle round is removed:S wich means the system is opened all the time, and i have no blockplates. what does this do? a vacumleak?

I have some problems with the car losing power for one or 2 second on 4000--> rpm, could this be the problem,?

I guess you need block plates for some reason? and whre can i buy these, need shipping to sweden.

Very happy for fast awsners.

thats not the erg system thats the air system. it assists the cats in doing there job. if you have no cats no need for it. if u dont have to pass emmissions no need for it. take it off block off the holes. the diaphrams being removed will have no negative impact on the air system.

if the rubber hose is connected to the air pump than no it wont do anything. those valves are there to not let exhaust gases get to the pump if they get there no big deal. might as some point ruin the pump.
