Default Missing anything?

Im doing LT header install on my hawk next weekend. I have all the parts necessary for the install. Ive been wondering; is there anything I should do while im down underneath my car? Im wondering maybe tranny mount, etc?

I will reccomend at least motor mounts. and while your at it the tranny mount to. Other than that there really isnt that much to do down there, unless you change your oil too.

plugs since you'll already be there.. I would invest in some exhaust bands to,I wouldnt mess with those pita clamps.

Yep got that covered. Now the only thing i see that might be an issue is the bands that I bought are these Now some came with the ORY which i like best. Here is a picture of both

The one on the left is the ones i like because of the smaller radius on one side. Will the others work just as good?

The one on the right is more suited for a "butt" joint , the one on the left is for a slip fit connection where one pipe is expanded to fit over the mating pipe.

I went with poly mount, and would recomend them to anyone. They will be a lot beter than the stock ones. They keep the motor from twisting as much on hard accelleration, and on a launch. Also they help with headers/y-pipe from hitting.

Poly on the tranny are obnoxiously noisey though, go with stockers there, you won't be sorry. Promise!

What noise are you talking about. I did mine a few weeks ago and I havent noticed any extra noise.
