i use to run the magnaflow catback...
the guy i bought it from installed a cutout when he had it mounted to his 93LT1....said he dyno tested it and picked up only 4rwhp with the cutout.
so honestly...with the flow potential of the magnaflow, you really aren't gonna gain much either way...other than sound.
probably can find some other use for the $200
