Default LT's and Y Pipe on Lowered car - Comments Please

If you have experience putting LT's and Y Pipe on a lowered car, please provide some input on brand of headers and Y pipe, how much car is lowered, and road clearance.

I'm looking for folks with experience, not necessarialy what someone read on an internet board somewhere.

I'm lowered with sportlines and the only thing that scrapes (speed bumps) is my y pipe. Of course it is a junky muffler shop ypipe. Pacesetter long tubes and borla catback don't have any problems though.

My Friend Runs Macs W-ory And Has Almost The Same Clearance As Stock About 1/2" Less

just don't buy the slp headers as they sit way too low.

Its not to bad in florida where all the roads are flat.

Im lowered (check sig for levels) and i have no problems. Just dont too fast over speed bumps and you'll be fine. Definatly dont buy SLP if your gonna lower. Then it might actually be a problem.

My car is VERY low, it scrapes on almost everything. I went with XS/LPP LT headers and Y and they fit perfectly and tuck up beautifully. They sit at the same height as my stock setup.

i have kooks and kooks catted Y. im at stock height now but have strano springs and koni's going on pretty soon. I have no clearance issues, and havent heard of anyone with this setup having issues

i have no problems with scraping. im running american racing headers with their catted y, along with bmr lowering springs.

pacesetter lts and ory on eibach prokit.

ive scraped a few times on speed bumps going ~2mph, so i avoid them like the plague. however, i think it was part of the clamp scraping.

I run Edelbrock LT's/ORY, and my car is lowered about 1.5". I really don't scrape too often. When my car was at stock ride height minus isolators in the rear a beer can slid under my Y pipe with more room to spare! I have no regrets with this setup.

i have pacesetters with ture duals hahahaha yeah i know you asked for y but the only thing that scrapes on my set-up is the lm1 resonators

i have pacesetters now......about 3in clearence......i used to have a bassani ory and stock manifolds and it was even better......car is lowered 1.8fr and 2.0 rear

yeah, i have the same kind of problem, im not lowered but when i hit those monster speed bumps i can scrape. with hooker lt and pacesetter y, my problem is when i go like 5 mph and my car lifts and drops on the bump. im worried about lowering also. i just figured ill have to deal with hitting them at an angel, and either slow as **** or busting shock fast haha.
