what do you mean "sounds good"?

to me...factory manifolds, gutted cats, and a loudmouth sounded pretty good (LOUD!!!!!!!!!).....now that I did the x-pipe and true duels I don't think ANY cat back sounds all that good....so...

I had a B&B and it sounded really "good" but it was also really quiet....the Borla sounds pretty nice when its not fully un-caped but then again that makes it not that loud....I don't think I have ever heard a Corsa but its in the same price range as the B&B and Borla so it should sound pretty good......

really....its either going to be loud, or its going to sound "good".....the nature of an off road y-pipe is that its really raspy.....

if you want something that is loud and sounds really good....bite the bullet (mufflers that is...) and join the true duel club....do a 2.5" x-pipe and run it out the rear under the axle.....don't dump before the axle or it will drone....

Check into the stainless magnaflow catback. I've heard it sounds pretty good with LT+ORY and no cats. Cuts down on the rasp some. It also goes for under $400.00

I have Hooker header and Y with a MAgnaflow catback. I has a very deep tone and sounded sweet with a stock exhaust. Not very loud but load enough at full throttle. With LT and ory it sounds awesome until 2500 where the rasp kicks in. Then it gets too loud after 3500. I am selling the set up and going with true duals and two bullet mufflers on each side.

I love my Hookers catback. It really all depends on what your plans are in the future as far as your exhaust goes.

I like my Hooker catback with my stock manifolds, SLP y-pipe & "high flow" cats. I wouldn't think the flowmaster would be much louder though. The Hooker has a great tone from about 1800-2400 RPM's especially. Higher RPM's sound good too. Idle is not that loud.

Thanks for the replies guys, another quick question I was thinking of getting rid of the flowmaster muffler, and having a dynomax bullet welded into the I pipe, and where the muffler was just welding it up so i can have duals out the back, anybody know if this setup would sound good?
thanks again

I have pretty much the same as 01ws6 but with a G2 y-pipe and as he said iddle is like a deep purring cat, but when u wake it up its like a tiger. some resonnance between 2000 and 2800 rpm, higher rpms are sweet and racy. I get many compliments.
