LS6 exhaust manifolds on LS1 in A body?

LS6 exhaust manifolds on LS1 in A body? I have a line on an LS1 from an '00 Camaro which doesn't include the exhaust manifolds. My 72 Chevelle 'vert will just be a cruiser so I would like to use the stock manifolds. Does the stock LS6 exhaust manifold fit that motor and body style?
I know there is a problem with the flanges between the pipe and manifold; is there any aftermarket solution yet or is it still neceessary to fab your own? Thanks.
