Default Ceramic Coating on Stainless Headers

Is it worth it to coat a set of SS headers? What does the coating do to the appearance of the headers?

The guy who sold me my QTP's sent them off and had them Jet-Hot coated. They look like a brand new set of coated headers. They look good. It's the shiny silver luster finish. Doesn't look as good as a brand new set of polished 304 Stainless headers, but it looks better than a used set of them. I now have the benefits of both stainless and the thermal barrier coating. Less underhood heat is the main perk but supposedly slightly more power. Nothing noticeable I'm sure though. Assuming the stainless is 304 grade,I wouldn't waste the money to coat a new set if that's what you're asking.
