hooker headers install
am i suppose to use the bolts that they sent?
they only sent 12
and i ordered teh 02 version
i think i got them but the have three provisions'
2 are for the air, but what is the third? it came with a block off plate but they only sent 12 bolts instead of 14.
??

- Get new gaskets...I went with Fel-Pro...only cost $10-15 and are much better quality than the ones in the kit. You could reuse the stock ones, but I recommend just buying new ones, especially if you have a car with higher mileage.
- DO NOT use the bolts that came with the headers. In my kit, I only had 11/12 bolts.
The ones in the kit are WAY too short. You could reuse your stock ones...I went with the Stage 8 Locking Header bolts, which are very nice. Those were about $50.- As for the block off plates, just reuse your stock bolts.

Is the install pretty straight forward? I couldn't find a install guide on it. do you have to remove the starter or oil dipstick or anything? This is for a '00 Trans Am w/ the LS1 intake, EGR and ****.

You shouldn't have to remove anything else although I've never installed Hookers. Good luck!
