vic jr & accufab = failed?

Exclamation vic jr & accufab = failed?

so im thinking my setup over and kinda wanna switch it up a little and gain hp of course... i first was going for a H/C/N20/th400 setup but changed my mind, im going with a high output N/A 346 6 speed. i just purchased a forged rotating assembly stock spec. and im just gonna transfer everything over, the stage 2 heads milled to 63cc, block, etc. Im also getting a bigger cam: 249/254 .617/.619 112LSA...

so im not sure if the ls6/stock ported tb will limit my power/flow with the new cam, i was thinking of goin with a 90/90 but since i wont be driving this on street (well sometimes) im leaning towards going with a vic jr./accufab 4150, theyre about the same price but the vic would benefit me more on the top end.

since its MAFless a speed density tune is required right? will the vic jr./accufab outperform the 90/90 at peak power? has anybody seen this intake setup on a 346? keep in mind this is not a street car so i care about streetability...

other related mods would be 4.56s/28" tires

any inputs, suggestions, tips? thanks

I've asked this question several times....unfortunatly I dont think anyone on here really knows... and if they do they never seem to respond

im i the same boat. cant decide if i want to get rid of fast 90 and try out a victor jr. with the stock cubes.

i think the vic is the way to go with a nitrous setup which is also on the way... results would follow within 3 weeks i hope...

Default 346 w/vic. jr.

I have a 346 with the vic. jr. intake and a 1000 cfm tb. I also have a 150hp shot on it right now but when it warns up ill spray a 200hp. Dont no if it help but I was running a bbk and ported tb before i went to the victor jr. set up.
I hace a 242/252 590/600 on a 111lsa its cam only and runs like a champ big inprovement over the bbk. The motor is built for nitrous and has a 3500 nitrous convertor in it and still fills awsome on motor I cant wait to spray it.
If you go with the vic. dont go with to big of a tb you dont want to kill it. and if your going to spray it use a carb plate kit but call the people you bought it from because you will need a diffrent jet on the fuel side do to the pressure increase of a ls1 fuel system over a carb. Hope this helps
