Default Corsa Exhaust

I just had a shop put it on... well it looked good at the shop... now that I am home.. and I stand back... the pipes are slightly off to the right... both sides... is it something I can bend? or do I need to take it back and have them fix it?

there's a hanger that holds the tailpipes in place. what you can do is either bend the hanger/bracket to accomadate the offset. OR, send the car back and complain.

My Magnaflow isn't perfect either. The right tip sticks out about 3/8" to 1/2" farther then the left side. But i'm the only person that has ever noticed it. It ain't a big to me. Still looks good.

I hate dealing with exhausts no matter what brand none of them end up being easy. They all require a lot of adjusting to get right.

I would take it back and have them fix it.. They shouldn't make you pay for the fact they didn't put them on straight.. One thing I don't like about my borla tips are they are up under the bumper... When I stand at the bumper you cannot see the tips..

I just put my Corsa on yesterday and its lined up fine side to side, but I can't get the tips to sit any higher...there's about 1.75 to 2" of gap between the bumper and the top of the tips....but I guess I will have to live with it. It doesn't bother me though, because that sound is bad ***!

Pictures? I would like to see. I am thinking about getting one. Is it loud? I have a SLP LM already...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hope it works out.

I had the same problem, the right side was closer to the license plate than the left. So, I took it over to a local shop that pretty much bent it back towards the right. It's not perfect, but you can't tell just by looking shortly at it. Now, you stand there for 5 minutes, or measure it, then you'll know exactly that its not even.

The right side tips were also more forward than the left, so I had that adjusted as well. Take it back and explain. Take a photo. I took some pics of cars on this site, so the guy wouldn't try and bulljive me.

Exhaust work sucks in general and when you have someone else doing the work, they BETTER be good. ALL exhaust systems need a little tweaking.

Take it back, dont mess with it.

+1 for what bigfoot said.

Lots of tweaking big pain to get those aftermarket exhausts right. Only thing was; my stock exhaust came from GM a little tweaked! Those ugly belmouths ugh.

My LM2 had small leaks, rattles, drove me nuts, but now either I've fixed it all or I am losing my hearing heh heh
