Default Fast 92 question (Fast Intake in General)

Would the intake port seals from my ls6 work in the Fast intake? I bought a fast, what else do i need besides, port seals, throttle body, throttle body seal (believe it comes with this), i just don't want to miss anything.

Yes the stock gaskets will work but they are only $20 from Advanced for the set. It should come with everything you need and make sure you use the allen headed valley cover screws

well, i am kinda a poor college student i say kinda cause it seems i can afford what want when comes to my car. i just don't want to purchase gaskets really if i don't have too, i mean yea i know i should because new stuff is always better but i mean if they are still in decent shape i see no reason to really not reuse the old ones. Thanks for the heads up on the allen head bolts, i new i need some different ones i just wasn't sure which ones

I am going to be installing a fast 78 on a ls1 soon. Will I need coolant crossover lines? where do I get the different allen head bolt? Should I just go get them from a hardware store?

You delete that line, its no longer used and for the bolts the 90mm kit I saw had them and FAST seals which I would prefer over trying to rip the stock ones out.

While you can reuse the stock gaskets, the FAST gaskets are "beefier" and IMO seal better.

They should have came with the intake. If not I may have an extra set at the house, it's just a matter of finding them

My intake is a fast 78mm and it didn't come with the gasket inserts. It did come with a bag of hardware labled Misc. hardware for LSI Manifold for 78mm throttle body. CPT1035
Heres a pics of the hardware are these the allen head intake bolts?

Yes you will need the coolant cross over lines front and rears. i bought the allen head bolts at paul's ace hardware. Make sure u have those bolts or else you will **** UP your intake. Make sure the bolts are button head and you'll need the tool to remove the fuel connection. you can get it at autozone, use it and return it.

what do you mean by allen head bolts, like something you can use an allen wrench on? I guess so you dont have to put a socket over a bolt. So in addition to the fast 92/92 you need a port seal or seals idk if theres one for each head or 8 separate ones, and then you need new bolts to fasten it down, and this fuel line crossover???? I too am a poor college kid i figured it would just come with what you needed.

Go on ls1howto.com they have them listed there, you need the crossover and the two plugs. Or you can buy them from a sponser, i know ws6store has them.
