Need exhaust advice

I'm looking into buying a SLP dual dual loudmouth exhaust, but after that I want to put in headers and a y-pipe all at the same time. What kind of headers and y-pipe should i look for, not looking to spend a fortune i just wana get this bad boy around 400hp.

I would get Hooker if you can afford it, If your SLP cat-back is adjustable, I would look into some Borla mufflers. Most will agree SLP sounds like crap with LTs and a O/R Y

There is no adjustable SLP cat-back. But when he goes full exhaust with no cats and if he does not like the Loudmouth sound, he then can add a bullet muffler like the Borla XR1 making it a Borla-Mouth like I have.

Oh I was under the impression you can take the SLP bullet resonators out and replace them with Borlas...I dunno

No buddy, you're on the right track. They just are not adjustable per say. People when they get full exhaust don't care for the SLP hollow resonator, or even the LM2 one so they pull out the resonator and replace it with a Borla XR1 or a Dynoamx bullet muffler. You can replace it, its just not adjustable lke you can easily swap in seconds.

I love it, sounds way differnet than any other f-body cat-back. And no it does not sound like the Borla cat-back at all, its a very deep pitch and alot less rasp and no backfire like the Loudmouth resonator.

i say hookers or the new edelbrocks both are about the same price, good quality and fitment, if you go loudmouth go loudmouth2, it is a bullet mufler instead of the resonator and sounds cleaner without as much drone as the LM1, and you can still swap out for a different bullet if you want
