They will sound the same. The LM1 resonators are basically bullets.

The LM1 gets really "gurguly" at like 2000-3500 rpm. Im swapping mine with a borla xr-1 Racing pipe. I read in numerous places that the lm1 was desighned and sounds best on cat back only applications. I think they were right.

if u want lm1 just do straight pipes, u'll save urself alot of money and lm1 is nothing but a hallow over priced pipe i used to have it, lm1 on true duels is almost a waste of having true duels they don't sound any different to me than a ypipe setup of lm1, iv herd both in person dumped and out the back.

i disagree with the sound statement, the pipe statement is very true!!! lol it's just a 4" hollow pipe. as for the sound my buddy has the same headers as me, but instead of true duals he has a ORY into LM1 and mine is alot louder than his and sounds deeper

I just got rid of my true dual x-pipe setup b/c it was TOO LOUD!! lol had some cheap hollow pipe resonators on 'em or something but it was nice - Lane True Dual is what I had - switched to y-pipe to make it more streetable
