Pic 005 it looks like one of the primaries is resting on the motor mount bracket. We pulled my XS ds header and dimpled it there in the quest to eliminate noise and vibrations. I'm not sure that actually contributed to the problem, but something to consider on the new design.

That primary is close to the motor mount there but not touching it. With the primary being in a vertical position there it will never hit the motor mount under torque. I had to make that primary close to the motor mount to allow more clearance with the other primaries that are close to the K member that would hit the K member under torque.

Have you checked the clearance on the aftermarket K-members?

I almost bought a set of your headers last year, If the price is around the same I will buy some for sure. Does the mount on the drivers side of the y affect ground clearance at all?

Haven't installed them with a aftermarket K
Ground clearance is the same as without the mount.

I know it will be tough now, since the headers are installed, but can you post a pic of the primarys going into the collector?

I am curious if you solved the leaking problems that the QTPs have had...

I think anytime you have the headers out you should replace the factory rubber motor mounts with poly mounts. Even a stock motor will rock back and forth considerable under acceleration, hence why the factory had the driver's side ypipe 6" off the floorboard and crushed flat.

It is a 10-20 minute, $40 job when you have the headers out to replace the motor mounts.

Trust me, every person on this site should replace their factory crappy rubber bushings with poly ones. You lose so much rotational torque from the motor torquing over that it's a no brainer.
