TSP Lid Problems *Update*
I'm sure if you're reading this then you already read the original post started by me on 7-16-03. Anyway, as promised, here's the update.
I called and talked to Brian from TSP and he promptly sent out another lid (I also had to have K&N send me another gasket but that was free). I also had him send me the smooth bellows since the everything was taken apart already. I received the new lid & bellows and began installing them and found a problem...the new lid fit perfectly but they forgot to drill a hole for the IAT sensor . So I called Brian again and he said they probably thought it was an 85mm lid which would explain why no hole was drilled. So he sent a third lid out 2nd day air. I got it today and installed it after work without incident . Good fit, and I could actually tell the throttle response was snappier. So anyway, I guess the moral of the story is that the 3rd time's a charm. I'd also like to thank Brian from TSP for being so helpful. Their customer service is terrific and I will certainly continue to patronize Texas Speed & Performance.

Re: TSP Lid Problems *Update*
Is the filter gasket the rubber around the actual filter or is another piece? My MTI lid doesn't seal very good and might need on of these.
Thanks

Thanks for posting the update. We don't always hear about the happy endings. All of our 85mm lids are sent to us without the IAT sensor holes drilled since some do not want the hole (uncalibrated 85mm MAF has the IAT sensor built into it). That one was apparently overlooked.
Let us know if we can help you in any other way.
Thanks!
Trevor
