Default brake line prob.....pics

Dont know if this belongs here but here it goes...to amke a long story short, my car started to smoke , poped the hood saw fluid on the drivers header flange... brake line seems to have been touching this flange for while seems like it made a hole...

you can see where it burnt a hole through the heat shield/mesh on this pic

and on this one im pointing to where it touches with the brake line

how hard will it be to replace this ..any write ups...or should i take it to a shop and what am i looking at as fasr as $$

the fluid sprays out when i step on the brake...

thanks for any help..

You can just replace that section of line with the same size brake tubing from the auto parts store. You'll need a length of line, the fittings, and a flaring tool that you can make double lap flares with.

Bend the tube away from the brake lines btw....

A few easy bends but you'll need a bending tool so you don't kink the line, a flaring tools and some brake line tubing or take it to a good brake shop. Either way should be an easy fix.
