Default 2002 SD-455 Trans Am Tribute Car

These are some new pics of the 2002 SD-455 Trans Am Tribute Car..It will be attending the 2008 Bandit Run and Year One Experience this year..What do you'll think???

This car was built as a guaranteed 10 sec street performer.

This car was at the track only once on Nov 25, 06 Atco, NJ. Ran 10.92, 1.55 60' @ 127mph with street tires, closed exhaust, full tank of gas and granny shifting. Time slip and video of run on previous page.....


Car was completed in Nov 06, 2006. There are only 800 miles on the engine and drivetrain, 17k miles on body/chassis.
Car was on Dyno Dynamics dyno on June 8th, 07. 536 RWHP, 520 FtLb torque. Torque curve was almost straight up hitting 500 FtLb by 3400 rpm. Dyno sheets available with car. Please contact Howard Tanner (Redline Motorsports) @ 518-355-8460 for verification of dyno results.


Engine Specifications – ALL parts for this build are new. There were NO used parts used in this build, ALL parts for were new.

• Clevite-Calico coated bearings
• ARP main, rod and cylinder head fasteners

I saw this car goin down I-85 today. Too bad i was in my truck and not the car. He prob thought i was some crazy guy drowling over a car and knowing nothing about it haha. Looked and sounded really good, but the guy doesnt mind goin steadly 85mph on the interstate..

Too bad he had a bunch of probs with it on the 'Run.. wanted to see what it would do on the street..... but he complained of oil pressure and head gasket probs...

You should add the C5 Front brakes for some more stopping power

If that truly ran 10s, wouldn't it have a rollcage? Looks sweet none the less but things don't seem to add up right. Street tires doesn't seem they would be Drag Radials as well.

Nice looking car, but how do you cut a 1.5 60' on street tires with a 6 speed? Unless it's got some massive 345 size rear tires....

Very nice, clean car for sure.

Yes it ran high tens on Drag Radials in the rear check the specs on top 315's in the rear and also on youtube there is a video of the run...just do a search for my videos cheigis
