Should I go ahead and get an ls6 intake now?
I was planning on waiting on the intake to cut costs for now, but I will be doing headers, cutouts, and ect so the car will be tuned. The question is, will it have to be tuned all over again once I get an LS6 intake?
And also, the cam will be a mimick of the TR230/224, what kinda gains should I expect from the intake?

Most of the time a tune will run 400-500$. Some tuners don't have a re-tune fee and others are as expensive as 25$. I say get the tune and read up on the new upcoming intakes. An LS6 intake will do just fine FWIW. These days that is a pretty mild cam. Radical cams are not where it's at, trust me, I know.

my cam is made by comp so i've been told it will be about 10 hp less due to the less agressive lobes
thanks for the advice on the tune, thats good to know
how much is this new intake set to cost?
hmm...i guess if nothing else it might lead to more ls6s on the market to make them cheaper
