Well the vette O2s are better cause they last longer with the heat generated by the headers. You can get either brand but I would get the 13111s if I were you

I am looking for a decent pair as well. From what I have read from all the online searching I have done, I would stay away from anything made by Bosch. It seems like the majority of those that are having O2 issues soon after putting new ones in are those who installed Bosch's. I just ordered a pair of NGK/NTK rear fbody ones, FWIW.

Seems like most recommend the stock AC's, NGK/NTK or Denso. I also read that someone found out at a SEMA show that NGK makes both Denso and AC O2's.....

Here are the O2 part numbers on fbody's and C5's:

NGK/NTK:
- fbody front right: 21528
- fbody rear and front left: 21544
- C5 front: 21006
- C5 rear: 21537

Denso:
- fbody front right: 234-4087
- fbody rear and front left: 234-4025
- C5 front: 234-4012
- C5 rear: 234-4617

AC:
- fbody front right: 25312196
- fbody rear and front left: 25312197
- C5 front: 25312184
- C5 rear: 25317697

this is all speculation, as I have not seen any evidence that this is the truth. I have read that someone ohmed out a stock FRONT O2 and a Bosch 13111 and the stock front O2 had actually LESS resistance in the heating circuit, which means MORE power (P=V²/R).

On both of my LS1's I've had longtube headers and would go through several sets of 'stock' O2's. On both cars I switched to the longer vette O2's and had no issues ever again. As far as what brand, some people don't like the bosch O2's for some reason but I've never had any issues with them. I would say you won't go wrong with either one though.

I bring it back from death cuz I need new O2 for my headers. My car is a 02 Formula M6 w/104k miles and original sensor. Bought 2 Bosch 13111 and most people said they sux. Reason I bought Bosch is I don't have to extend the wire.

My question is, which sensor has the long wire so I don't have to extend? Can I still use C5 rear sensor to put in my headers as front sensor? Or F-body rear sensor as front?

Also, will they work in LT1? I've a friend has 96 SS going to install headers too so new sensor is needed.
Thanx a million.

Which NGK/NGT do you use with long tube headers on an f-body without having to extend them?

Corvette rear O2's are longer wires for LT headers, so no need for header extensions. BTW I'm running NTK Corvette rear O2's.

i have the 13111's and the first set went bad but i got them at autozone and they come with a one year warranty so i just slapped in two more no problems since, im untuned too so that might be a possible cause to the failure?
