Car wont start??
Car wont start?? I'm ghaving this problem that when i try and start it the security light will come on and I have to un hook the battery and it will start. Well just now it did it and i un hooked the battery several times and it still wouldnt start. So I pulled the ignition relay and put it back in and it started. What could cause this?? I also dont have the keyless entry for it either.
Clean off the chip in your key, always worked for me. Just a qtip and rubbing alcohol or some contact cleaner of some sort. The "chip" is just a resistor, once it gets dirty it changes the reading of it and wont allow it to start. You could bypass it by getting an multimeter and measuring the resistance of it and wire a resistor in the system, there is a writup and alot more info in the electronic section.
