Default cat bypass

I want to eliminate my cats but i still need to pass emmissions when the time comes. high flow cats are expensive i don't have the money for that right now. plus no high flow cat flows like no cat. i figure if i get the mufflex cat bypass i can put them in and then when emission time comes swap them back out for the cats and pass. i know there has to be a hp increase. does anyone run this bypass kit? do you like it? did it fit well? do you know what you gained?

I have heard PA is very strict on cars. Won't even let you register unless the car is in good order. I am going to guess this is one of the states that does a visual.

Sorry you aren't really getting any answers. Might try the regional forums.

All I know is one of my friends couldn't register her car cause there was a tear in the seat. If they are that ****....

I picked up a pair of same-idea, but not-Mufflex and
they did not fit quite right. So I never got to judge.
Another option is a pair of gutted cats with some
smoothing of the rough bits (for rasp). Some people
ask a lot for used cats and some let them go for free
(or nearly).
