Default Kooks 1 3/4 or 1 7/8

I have a stock ls1 with a D1SC and I am thinking about a set of kooks headers. I dont want to kill my low end torque. Will the 1 7/8 headers kill me on bottom or will they be the best all around?

In your case I would get the 1 3/4" headers.

Since You are F/I there is no downside to 1 7/8". The new TSP 2" header would be a good choice too if the fitment reviews come out good.

I went to byunspeed.com and they have so many choices it is confusing me. I think I need 1 7/8 X 3 is this correct? Also I want to get rid of egr tube so can I get the emissions headers?

If you are ditching EGR get the non-emmision (race style) header.

Over ported 1 3/4" MAC mid's with ORY, I picked up 25/17 at the wheels with 1 7/8" American Racing headers with CATs ... my motor is a 347 (forged). I'd def go with 1 7/8" with FI.
