Question Cooling Issues

I don't know if this will help or not but its a 00 TA, Cam only.

About two months i was driving along and my "check gauges" light come on and the temp. was about 250, so i pull over and check things out and there was coolant in the left fender well and down the side of the car, which came out of the overflow tank. I wait a few min. and start the car back up, the temp was at 210 or so, i get out and the fans aren't on. Check all the fuses and connections, everything seemed to be fine. Start it back up again and the fan kick on.
Well since then its happened a couple other times. It did it about 3 weeks ago but i think it might have been a little low on coolant, so since then Ive made sure it was topped off and hasn't happened since.

Sunday my girlfriend and i was joy riding through the mountains, i pull over at a scenic overlook and noticed a "Gurgling" sound so i popped the hood and it sounded like it was coming from the radiator ( Car isn't over heating, it was at normal driving temp 210) Then shorty after i see coolant on the ground. It didn't overflow out of the overflow tank, but it looked like it came from the left side of the car. Anyone know what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated. TIA.

Old coolant, dirty radiator, air in the coolant system ie. block. They are a bit of pain to get out all the air if you drain the coolant from the block.

It has new Dex-Cool. When i did the cam swap i pulled the motor and most of the coolant came out of the block. Should i flush the radiator? Whats the best way to get all the air out?

Could be a bad radiator cap.

You should take off the radiator cap then start the motor and let it warm up. Add fluid as needed. I had sqeeze the radiator hose alot to help burp it. It will take a while. When the thermostat opens you will get some fluid that wants to come out. You may have to put the cap back on to let it settle turn off the car then take it off again start the car again and repeat the process. There may be an easier way, but this how I did it.

I've got a radiator that would be perfect. Top of the line Ron Davis, with models with integrated oil coolers. 7, 14 and dual 14 plate heat extractors as well.
