Im getting the flowmaster U-fit kit that has all the necessary pipes and then some for a full true dual setup from jegs. I went 3" piping and im gonna make the x in the normal location and run one side over the drivers side and one side over the pass. I saw One person just cut a notch out of there stock upper panhard rod to make this clear. if they can do it then i can too. Still indecisive of tips or no tips. Any suggestions or comments and concerns?? Ill have pics when the project is finished

Your going the same way I went. The U-fit kit is great, everything you will need and then some. I used 3" piping, and you could notch the upper pan hard par, but i didnt. No problems so far, but im going to make some drop brackets on bothsides for the lower pan hard bar so no hittin on the pipe occurs, even though right now im not having any problems. if you havent already bought the kit, pm for the best price you can get it for

I ran 2.5" pipe over the axles and no matter how much I adjusted, it always hit the lower PHB over bumps and uneven pavement.... I'm not saying you can't do it, but I finally gave up and went with the Corsa catback.
I hope you have better luck than I did!

I have true duels like what your talking about. the guy that did my exhaust cut a piece out of the upper panhard and the welded it to the upper panhard as stupid as that may sound it doesnt rattle is sturdy and lookes great.

BMR Panhard relocation kit.
I run 2.5 inch true duals over the passenger axle. No clearance issues or things bumping. It's good for 3 inch true duals or a 4 inch pipe.
It's worth the investment if you are going true duals to simply go over the passenger side. If you go driver's side there's the off chance that each time you compress the suspension it will contact.

Actually on my buddies 383 lt1 he had the same 4" mufflex on his single side like i do ..he put down 426 whp, that same day we built and installed a true dual x dumping before the axle and he put down 448.. i would say that an x pipe does something for sure especially over the 4" mufflex spintec combo! but everyone does have there own opinion i guess?

I'm interested in seeing pics of writeups people have RE: going over the driver's side.
It sure would make building my new setup easier. I want to run 11x14" chambered mufflers on both sides.
