Default mac y-pipe with cats

From what I have read the mac cats are not very good. What do you guys think about getting the mac headers w/the off road pipe and welding in random tech cats where the mac cats would go.....I think this is what I want to do...then again I never really know what I want to do untill I do it. also with this set up you would also have to get the two rear 02 sims, right?

carsound cats flow as well or better than random at a fraction of the cost. Thats what I'm going with.
