Ok I've always known x and H pipes to be the best way to go. So what everyone here is saying is that if I went hooker headers-slp cats-hooker y pipe-hooker catbacks is better then replacing the y with a custom x?
NO,not at all.
You will need a good y pipe. The Hooker wont cut it unless you have the merge replaced with a good merge and you will need bigger than a single 3" exhaust. After the merge you can put either a 3.5 or 4" cutout on it and then you will doing something.
