This is the same way I feel, I was just curious as to what other people opinions were.

Potentially there could be a flood of used FAST intakes in the classifieds section along with a very cheap market for them.

yea. 5rwhp aint gonna do it for me. Mine is ported (by mamo), and I so i have around $1200 tied up in it. I doubt i would swap it unless there were SIGNIFICANT GAINS. Not to mention, it is setup for the DP which is in my future.

It's REALLY hard to beat the FAST design. You'd be hard pressed to find anything better for street/strip duty. Especially if you have it ported.

As stated it's going to take a lot for me to get rid of mine until there are some solid numbers out of it. But I can see the price of used Fast intakes dropping in the near future if these things are a hit

I'm tired of hearing about this weiand intake.....it's been in production forever. I'm with you Marlon & 94Trans, then I could skip getting an LS6.....

Yea, that kinda reminds me of the new Camaro lol....

As for the intake, the majority of people buying are people who have stock units and want to be different.

It will be interesting to see what the new manifold does but I plan on running a ported Fast 92mm anyways.

I would say that you made the right choice with you relatively limited mods. If you don't plan on taking the car any further, then good call. Go H/C/N2O and big CI, and that ls6 turns into a coffee straw.

If the Fast price starts dropping i will ditch this damn ls6 in a heart beat. I didn't feel any gains from it anyway
