Default Proposed exhaust setup...

I want to use, QTP 1 3/4 LT's, 3" x-pipe, hooker catback and electric cutout(s). Will all of this work together? I figure with the ASA cam and open cutouts it will be loud as hell, but with the cutouts closed and going through the hooker, it will be quieter? Anybody have this setup or something like it? Any info would be appreciated... I really want to use a dual/dual catback, but its too expensive, hooker seems real cheap so ill probably go with that...Thnx

Wouldn't the X-pipe want to go out of a dual?
The hooker has one inlet, two outlets (to accept the conventional Y-pipe to I-pipe connection).
Therefore just have the X-pipe flow into two smallish mufflers or bullits, and have a couple turn-down tips before the axle if cost its a factor.

yea, thats kinda what i figured, but i want an exhaust out the back, a x-pipe and a cutout to work together. Am i asking too much? So will a hooker and a x-pipe never work together? Turndowns were my first thought, but im not too sure.

Wow!
The headers, cam, and X-pipe mentioned... combined with the suggested bullets terminating under the car would equal enough drone to burst your head wide open in 3.5 seconds!
My .02 (from experience)

FWIW: IMO Hooker LTs & ORP with Hooker C/B would be awesome and cost effective. Maybe Zed the cut-out.

I wonder about vibrations from such a setup... I only started my car a few times open headers and it was vibrating enough to make it not desirable at all...

That is very true. I didnt even think of that. Then my next question is where do i place my cutout(s) to eliminate the most interior noise? Still waiting on whether or not the x-pipe will work?...

Zed the cut-out if you are going with the single exhaust (least noise).
If you go with duals, you don't have much choice.
