What is the best way to do this? What do I do with the stock cables that went to the battery in the stock location? Im going to be using my Dyna-Battery (very small and weights like 10-11 LBS..

I have a 11 lb hawker battery and I left mine in the front. It seems you would have more problems with wiring and amperage dropping with the long wires. I understand this was not your original question but I just wanted to give you a different perspective and consideration. The traction in rear of car can be met with suspension components and more weight reduction in the front. Cheers...

I would leave the Hawker in the front. I sold my Hawker (I wasn't happy with its charging) and got an Optima Red-Top and mounted it in the spare tire well. It is very easy. I used BMRs bracket, and some wire from Jegs. I grounded it in the back, ran the wire up to the front and connected it with the negative up front, then grounded the positive and the ground.

Why this mod? If it is wieght transfer (V6 springs front and take off front sway) if it is just to be cool, keep it up front

Put it in the back cubby hole.
1. It makes more room in the engine bay
2. The engine bay looks cooler
3. Performance benifits
4. Why not.
good luck

There really is no downside to it. My setup has worked flawlessly so far. It removes weight where you don't need it, and it adds weight where you do need it. And the guy that said suspension will get you traction, nothing is better for traction then weight over the rear tires (except better tires, of course). It aids handling if you are into that sort of thing, too.
