Devon ya just need to go to a motor plate, and then they'll slide up in there like it's noone's business.

I installed my 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch kooks with the motor mounts in with teh stock k member, I can tell you the clearance on the steering shaft is tight, about 1/16 of ain inch away, but it clears, and I had no choice but to get the angle grinder out on the lip on teh k member on the drivers side too. I scratched some **** up too trying to get that SOB up in there on the drivers side. Passenger's side was easy, but the drivers side was a nightmare. I had the oil filter off, drain plug off, all that as well.

Now with the motor plate on, I "think" the thing would fall right in and out to be honest, and I'm sure once a k member finds it's way under my car it will get that much easier too, I just worry about the aftermarket steering shaft and the #1 promary not wanting to play well together, I'm hoping it doesn't turn into a job for my fab guy.

Those headers do look nice, are they ceramic coated too?

Yup, and they look nice and should keep me from totally burning myself when checking plugs after spray runs!!

Over the winter I may have my kooks and the exhaust all coated. My fab guy told me about some new black ceramic coating, I'm waiting to see something done in it, if it looks good I may go with that.

I painted the exhaust with a high temp flat black paint, you look at the car from across a parking lot and you can't see any of it, it's perfect.

I was gonna do the headers, but I don't think the paint would last on them.

Ceramic, that's different. If I get a chance to see anything done in the black I will take some pictures.
