Need a bit of input, my car is a 2000 z28 pewter and I thought the black on the
Hooker would look cool but is it a good muffler and piping?
I currently run edelbrocks catback
only downfall is the muffler is not stainless but I dont drive in shitty weather anyway.
-It's cheaper than the magnaflow system
-The car spends most of it's time in AZ and rarely if ever sees rain, so not having stainless was no big deal to me
-I feel the hooker has a better sound. It's a lot more throaty and has a deeper more badass tone to me the the magnaflow system, which kind of sounds like every other truck out there to me
-The hooker livens up great with LT's and ORY, where some other catbacks sound worse when you stray farther from stock exhaust (Loudmouth, etc.)
Hope this helps!
The magnaflow sounds so much better with LT's and ORY. Its much to mild with the stock manifolds and cats.
If you ask me I think you could say the hooker is better in one way.... sound. And that's personal prefference really. I think the Magnaflow sounds better. I wish I would have kept mine. Its really a nice setup.
