Cool average "full bolt-on" gains from tune

hey guys how much do you think a tune would get me with bolt-ons:
  • FTRA
  • K&N FLILER
  • SLP LID/SLP 85mm MAF
  • HELIX TB SPACER
  • FULLY MODDED TB BY SMOKIN87TA
  • LS6 INTAKE
  • MSD WIRES/DELCO IRIDIUMS
  • SLP UNDERDRIVE PULLEY
  • JET HOT COATED (IN & OUT) PACESETTER HEADERS/ORY(NOT COATED)
  • SLP LM1 CATBACK
  • REBUILT TRANS. W/TRANS GO SHIFT KIT

by the way its on a 99 ls1, if im not mistaken the stock cams were bigger on these cars. the tuning will be on EFI LIVE w/a wideband O2. im just wondering what i'll gain and cant wait!

It just depends on how the stock tune is now... some cars are better than others..they are all different.. You might gain 3hp, or you might have 20.

It isn't a set thing..but be sure to post in the Dyno section when you get numbers.. If I was you I'd swap back to the stock MAF if you still have it.

The stock MAF flows plenty of air...usually you only upgrade it when making some real power..like forced induction 450+hp

Also, sometimes aftermarket MAFs are harder to tune.

And the throttle body spacer won't do anything... all your other mods are good though.

But, my car has pretty much the same mods(stock maf, no spacer)...and it put down 330/340 untuned.

i have a 2002 Z28 A4

mods:
SLP lid and free air mod
ported TB
MSD wires and NGK TR55 plugs
Kooks 1 3/4 headers w/ catted Y
GMMG catback
Transgo shift kit

after tune made 341rwhp and 348rwtq.

all cars are different and will respond to the same mods differently. there was just a car posted by one of the sponsors that got around 370rwhp with just bolt-ons.

since you have lt's, 350 MIGHT be possible for that 99 . . . but then again go to the "right" dyno and you'll hit that do you know what kind of dyno the place has?

350 WILL be possible with LT's. Hell, I made 345rwhp/360rwtq with a tune and my only mods were Lid/Filter, 85mm Maf, Ported TB, NGK TR-6 plugs, MSD wires, and a magnaflow muffler.

I now have QTP LT's and was able to easily pull my friend that was always able to pull me. He put down 355rwhp/365rwtq (not exact, but real close) with the same mods, minus the ported TB and he has Pacesetter LT's and the K&N FIPK.

With the mods on my car now, I SHOULD be able to see 370-375 after I go back for another tune.

You are going to gain a lot from the tune. with all your mods, you are not getting the Hp you should out of them without the car being tunned for them.

Most bolt-ons; 366/372 with a tune (Dyno Dynamics.) Lid, full exhaust, thru 17X10.5" wheels and 315/35/17s.

I have everything for the N2O, including a N2O only tune (Dry hit... 100hp). I just need to run the main feed line and do some more wiring. On a mostly empty bottle (2 LBs of N2O) I put down 435rwhp.

I just need time and motivation to finish the install.

When I got mine tuned I picked up 3hp. Make 320 through a locked converter.
