i took this out to fit my tranny cooler am i really loosing any horsepower by having it out? btw its the metal piece im talking about

Looks like a homemade ram air kit. So long as you leave the bottom of the airbox open like it is, you shouldn't see any difference.

I think its from the SLP kit.

Thats the slp ram air for the camaros. I have it on my firebird. (dont know why I think I am going to sell it)
