I don't think the install is gonna happen today, it looks like it's going to rain, I'm gonna do it at the hobby shop tomorrow ( it's closed Monday/Tuesday).

Stupid question, but, can you just buy the throttle body and have it work with the old LS1 intake?

I can't afford the combo right now, and it would be easier if I could buy it in stages.

So you want to put a 92mm intake on a 78mm intake? No don't do it. Don't think it's possible either.

stock TB is 3 bolts
this one is 4
might work on the L76 intake

Ya, I know it is a stupid idea and you'd need both parts to get any gains, I just wondered if it would work temporarily until I could afford both pieces.

Sounds like it doesn't.

I'm like half way done installing it, the holes for the studs for the fuel rails don't match up perfect and it got dark so i quit for the night, I don't want to mess anything up, anyone else have this problem?
