I understand. Post a side profile pic of the primary so we can see how deep it is. From what I can see in the original pic, it doesn't look like it's anything to worry about really.

Thats why things cost so much as it is. I think they were very fair w/ their offer. Since they dont actually make the headers I guarantee they dont make 100.00 a set.

An ***? No. I have my own life. I own my own business and know how it goes. I stand by my products and if anything happens in shipping I HANDLE it. I dont tell people "well its worth this, so I will give you that". Thats BS. If I did that my internet business would go down the *******, then I would have to worry about how my retail locations would be affected.

And yes they do charge upwards of $100 dollars to cover things. But the #1 reason they charge that much....Is because people pay for it. But you dont have any business knowledge and I wouldnt expect you to understand that.

I deal with many companies on a regular basis who IF I have a problem with, they will cover shipping both ways and send me a product that meets the publics expectations. Hell, they will even let me use the deffective/sub par product untill the new one comes in.

So please unless you know how things work.

I just think if you buy something brand new, it should be in brand new condition when you recieve it.

Just my opinion.

my dad had to dent his primary in basically the same spot to clear the power steering in his '69, im pretty sure it flows just as good. i doubt you lost any hp or CFM from that dent. if anything your making a good deal on this, charge the original company a minor penalty and go about your day, with some extra money in your pocket.

I guess you think that I'm some 16 yr old who has no Idea how the real world works, Well your sadly mistaken. I have owned my own buisiness for over 25 yrs. I will tell you that a customer will get alot more favorable response out of me if they are reasonable. You are in buisiness for yourself huh? I would be more inclined to believe that if you were not on here telling this guy to try to screw another small buisiness owner.
Do you honestly think a hundred dollars an hour is fair? If so you must be ripping your customers off. Please let me know the name of the buisiness you own so I can stay far away.

ae13291 seems like a very honest guy so I'm sure the company will make it right for him. With your attitude I would tell you to send them back, give you a refund, and tell you to get lost.

Sorry for the rant but unreasonable people really **** me off especially when they try to bring good people down to their level.

Sorry for the thread jack.

Wow, you are as niave as you sound. Dont mistake my being unfair as just that. I have higher standards for my business. Ripping the company off? Yes, because they wont stand up and fix the wrong. You "owning" your own business should know that, that is what people expect. Im sorry that in my business I strive for the highest level of satisfaction from my customers as I can.

With my attitude you would tell me to get lost? Why because I bought something brand new and did not recieve it that way? Your the kind of business owner that will get a bad rep because your too lazy or unaware of how people work. If you fix something that was wrong 9/10 times the person is happier knowing you fixed it than if you didnt have to fix it. See next paragraph.

True story, the last business I went to that was a "mom and pop" body shop that I was reffered to by a dealer. They were in business for 30 years, but had the shittiest work, and customer service. Just because youve done business for a long time doesnt mean ****.

I have customers send me products that have broken due to their misuse and I personally will send it back for warranty even though the manufacture wont cover it. Why? Because they keep coming back and spend lots of money, and never have ANYTHING bad to say about me or my company.

Lastly $100 isnt that unreasonable since thats what most shops charge (around me atleast). Drag people down to my level? You mean drag them up to have the same expectations of a product they purchased? As for avoiding my business, feel free to do so, I have plenty of customers and do plenty of business. By the sounds of your business I would avoid it, knowing that I will get a half as fix.

You are the one who told the guy to rip this reputable company off for 100.00( AN HOUR) And made a negative comment about a company you have no first hand knowledge of. I agree that some restitution should be made and is as I understand the thread starter.

As I stated before they dont manufacture the headers and do not make more than 10% most likely as a retail company and are not responsible for damage done during shipping, they are going above and beyond by making the statement (Whatever you feel your time is worth). Then you say I know who I wont order through now. Why? Maybe your not an *** bot you sure do come off as one.

LOL I love how you poke fun at short hand typing. Thats ok that you can only poke fun at that and not how I run my business.

As I have stated they did not make them. They shipped them. Their shipping provider was a little rough. They should go out of their way to fix whats wrong, when they could most likely be comped by Pacesetter for them. I have ordered from Speed inc. I was not satisfied at all by them. I placed an order that was supposed to be a rush order and put a note for them to call me. Did they? No. Did the order ship out in a reasonable amount of time? No. They got lucky and I postponed my trip and waited for them to get here. Did I bitch about that? No, I kept my peace hoping that they just did ME wrong.

Just like today I mailed out a product that a customer of mine has had a problem with. What did I do? I sent him a brand new piece and his old pair back so he could part it out. I should have kept the defective piece and sent that back for credit. But I lost out. Why? Because the product broke within 2 months. And the product is made by one of the MOST popular brands in America. They dont back their product, but I do. And yes it cost me, but this guy has been a great customer and has only spent less than $150 with me.

WTF are you talking about?
You keep running your mouth like they are not doing anything to fix this issue when they are. You get on here and tell the guy to screw them because you had a bad experience with them. They are working with him to resolve the problem. If you have a problem w/ the company maybe you should post in the vendor feedback section.

You have to be the dumbest person on this site. Did I say "rip them off because they hosed me"? No. You assume way to much and try to look like you know what you are doing. I made my statement about labor charges before I mentioned anything about my experience.

So again PLEASE unless you can comprehend a post.

Just because you took 3 posts to get your point across that you are not happy w/ this companys customer service is not my fault, nor should I have to put up w/ your insults on my inteligence,You sir make your self sound more childish every post.

And if mistyping one word makes me the dumbest person on this site then your attitude makes you an ***!
