Default welding stainless?

does it take anything special? i have some stainless headers with the air and i am trying to get rid of it. thanks!

I would use a MIG with stainless wire of the same series that the headers are made from. Should be no problem.

tig it and use any good grade of stainless, at least as good as what the header is made of. dont worry about the header and filler metal being a perfect match bc it will be fine.

If you are using MIG, just get some .025 308 wire thats what I use on 304 SS tubing

you should use the gas with the mig to help the stainless stay stainless

heh...I used a stainless 308 Rod on mine....stick welding on 18ga stainless=
