I could be wrong, but seems like i remember someone saying the revX catchcans have a built in PCV already in the can, so you don't need to use the PCV valve and can just toss it...

can anyone confirm?

I just installed mine this week. It looks to be correct.

Soul TKR:

There are two versions (that I am aware of) of the catch can. The one pictured above is the newer one which has the PCV valve.

I just bought mine too. The one you have in the picture is the one with the PCV valve already integrated into the can. Shake the can, if it rattles then you know you've got the right one. As far as the second PCV valve goes, you can take it or leave it. You don't need to have it in there as you've already got one in the can itself, but having two inline wont hurt anything. I just tossed mine because it looks cleaner with just the one but it's your choice. Hope this helps.

2 pcv's wont hurt anything, another way to check to see if it does have built in pcv is blow into the fitting on the catchcan, the fitting on the side not the top, it should allow you to suck air through that fitting but not blow into it, that is assuming they put the pcv in that fitting, if not the top fitting will have the opposite effect, you should be able to blow into it but not suck through it, that will show if you have a pcv in the can.

edit I just noticed that is a pcv valve on the side of the tank, where the hose is hooked to.

but just make sure that which ever side you hook the intake side to allows you suck through and the side you hook the valve cover side to allows you to blow through.
