Default EGR keep or remove?

I hear removing it lowers gas mileage, I was going to get it removed when my tune is done but im not so sure now. I will be removing it for a ls6 intake. what do you guys think?

Get rid of it. It looks terrible just sitting up there. Plus I just sold mine to my dad's buddy for $40. Cha-ching

If you put on LS6 intake, you have to get rid of EGR anyway, unless you drill a hole in it and use an adapter for it. Why do that just to pump hot air and a bunch of carbon into your intake? The mileage difference is insignificant if it exists at all - I noticed maybe .5 mpg less on the highway after I did it - and that easily could have been due to other factors.

Get rid of it. Removing it really opens up some space in the engine bay and makes changing spark plugs easier

I kept mine due to emission checks here in Canada. I swear I'm the only smuck with a Fast 92 intake running egr into it.
