Deleting AIR on 02 SS

Hey all, I am getting ready to put some O/R Hooker Comp LT's, Hooker O/R Y and O2 sims on my 2002 SS after deleting AIR using the plugs/plates will a tune be necessary? I figured I would throw a code but I am doing a cam and heads in the spring and would rather wait and have it tuned once as the car sits from Oct-April. What are your thoughts?

Like lemons12 said. just do it all at once and get it tuned right. I'm pretty sure installiing those exhaust mods will make your car run really rich without a tune. You can get a mail order tune for around $225 which would make your car run much better and would stop the SES light from coming on.
