Default Got my long tube headers... pics

I like them!

I measured everything and here is what I got:

- 3" collectors
- .062" - .065" thick piping size. This is 16 gauge
- 3/8" thick flanges
- Roughly 1.700" - 1.712" tube port size. Close enough to 1 3/4"
- All welds look nice
- Polish job is real nice

Stock 3.23's. Only thing I had was a lid. It was tapping the rev-limiter on the shifts and I was on regular radials or I think with just those two things addressed I could have gotten a solid 13.1 or 13.0. That was leaving about 2500 RPM's since the rear brakes wouldn't hold and the tires were starting to slip some. With DR's I know I could have knocked a little more off.

Default Word of Advise!!!!!

IF,, those are the Ebay headers!!!!!! Speaking from Experience!!!!

Notch your K-member,, ON BOTH Sides..or you'll regret it, even after installing new poly motor mounts. The vibration from them rubbing SUCKED.

I ended up having to taking them back off "Sawz all" then re-install. But, for the $$$ saved, they're still worth it....

Sorry, no photos.

Oh.... and if you didn't get them coated... say bye-bye to the nice polished finish. It will only last for a few weeks, if that.

Not on yet. Still need to get the exhaust pieces but have the extensions and block-offs.

They are stainless and can be polished again. They will turn blue or black but who cares. I don't really pop the hood to look at my headers.
