Its cool, you don't have to like it. I like it bacause its different, plus I'm really sick of dumps and there are only 3 setups that look good on camaros....CME, dumps, and the 2otl. But its just my opinion. The whole system is going to be semi gloss black, even the tips so it will all be stealthy and almost hidden. Then on top of that my car got about an inch lower this weekend so that will help conceal all of the piping.

Next time I'm out there I'll take some pics of the muffler and mabye it will change your mind on the dauls with 1 muffler, or mabye not LOL

Thanks for the opinion

Thanks man, I appreciate that alot. Me and my brother do all of our own work, well besides engine machining and such, but we do all of our assemblies, swaps, and so on. The garage is a mess but we have 3 projects going on right now so I guess its expected.

Heres the custom x pipe that I started for my brother's S10, I should finish up the rest during the week and the weekend. Hes running dual super 40 series flowmasters then over the axle into hidden tips both exiting on the passengers side behind the tire...

Its not perfect, but its better than paying some hack job shop that doesn't use mandrel bends and hates life. Everything on the truck tucks up in the frame and can't be seen unless you lay on the ground to see it, but even then thats hard

But I should make alot of progress tomorrow and mabye get something done, well I can hope for that anyway

Thanks alot you guys, seems kinda sad sometimes when someone tries to do something a little different and gets flamed. Sure sometimes it can get taken too far, but its an exhaust, if I don't like it I can just cut it off and start over. Its not like I'm painting my car hot pink or covering the damn thing with rice stickers. And you can still have true duals with 1 muffler IMHO.

But enough with that, I'm going out to work on it some more today and hopefully get it done back to the muffler, or possibly all finished up. Then I'll get some video of it and then you can give me your honest opinion. Then in a few weeks I'll get some vids of my bros S10 and next summer my dad should have his truck done I have way too much **** going on LOL

Well noy much progress yet, I wasn't feeling very good yesturday but I went out to work on my car anyway and all I got done was making both the pipes even (where I left off in the pics). Then I started the finishing welds and put it back under the car to check for clerences and everything is good. I may have to "modify" the floor under the passengers side seat to get the pipes up higher, but they aren't that low right now. My headers are still the lowest point of my exhaust and I haven't scraped them anywhere so I think I'll be alright. Hopefully I'll be able to make some time tomorrow and this weekend to get it done, but I have alot of other stuff going on so I'll have to wait and see

UPDATE........Well my little brother came home this weekend so I spent some time with him, but I have the exhaust done over the axle. I still need to do into the muffler, but the welder was fighting with me and I'm 1 90* bend short

But I'll have some pics up in a bit

**NEW PICS**

Super slow progress, theres alot more to the exhaust than I thought there would be. I probably have a good 5-8 hours just from the X pipe back, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. I'm also probably going to use some header wrap and wrap the exhaust once it goes over the axle since its pretty close to the gas tank and I don't have any heat shields on there anymore. But I don't get stuck in traffis or anything like that, so it may be alright.

But so far it looks like I'll be able to keep the stock PHB brace in place and not have to buy am aftermarket one right now, but it may hit once its on the road and bouncing around so I'll find out soon.

Thanks for following along

Alright I have it about 98% done. All thats left is to add a hanger on the drivers side and finish welding the tailpipes on. Everything is done, sandblasted, and painted. I had to cut the exhaust in front of the axle and used 2 stainless steel band clamps to hold them together so I can still take the exhaust out from under the car. I'm going to finish the exhaust by the end of the week but I need the factory drivers side hanger since mine is gone.

All I have is a cell phone video, but its kinda like the dumped bullets right now, but a little tamer not so agressive. I'll try to get some good vids this week but no gaurentees since I'm not sure if I can upload them since my camera didn't come with a disk.

Thanks for following and if you have a hanger let me know because I'm in need of one

The car is still up in the air right now so ground clerence is really unknown right now, but everything is tucked up as tight as it can get without hitting. The lowest point from what I can tell right now is the header collectors. Then the next spot would be under the passengers side rear seat, since I ran the 2 pipes there rather than right next to the drive shaft. Everything is still really axcessable, I can still pull my drive shaft out, still pull the torque arm out, and the exhaust still can be taken off. The entire system is welded and there are 2 stainless clamps at the axle so the system can be split.

I should have it done this week, or at least back at my house so I can get some good pics and possibly a good sound clip. Also my car is lowered about 1.25-1.5" and everything still fits great.

Stay tuned I'll have more pics really soon

Do some searching though, you can get two mufflers with over the axle and ground clearance. It can be done.
Picked up my 00 SS yesterday with true duals, new high flow cats, and two mufflers dumped out the back on the drivers side. The car does seem to run stronger.

I would describe the sounds a nice mellow rumble at idle and a growl at WOT. The car now sounds like a V8 finally, not like a cross between a V6 and a Bike like it did with the stock exhaust with a flowmaster tacked on the end

The guy did an awsome job of tucking the whole thing in since my car is lowered 1.75", I think with that I still have the same clearance that alot of the true duals on stock height cars show on here

PM Sent, also let me know how you like the 4.30s I'm thinking of going to them when I do the 9" in my car instead of the 4.11s that way 6th gear isn't quite so boggy on the bigger hills around here

The 4.30s are fine so far. The car sat since July 1st when I blew the 10 bolt for the 2nd and final time. I just got the M9 in last weekend, and after breaking in the gears, I broke the driveshaft the first time I got on it.
