Airbox Q's Ok, so when I purchased the car, it had C5 Corvette rims, and I belive an SLP DD exhaust.
Now, here's my question, does the stock airbox have a tendancy to rub on th hood? I had checked my oil a few days ago and I notcied that the lid of the air box is rubbing on the hood, much to my dismay. I figured the stock unit doesn't rub, or shouldn't, so I'm wondering what else the previous owner has done to the car
Also, does anyone else have issues with the latches on the air box not staying tight? Mine always come off so I'm not sure if I'm sucking up dust particles when I'm driving down the road, which would make me a very unhappy camper.

If you have the SLP lid, make sure the lip of the lid is behind the lip on the stock airbox lower part thing. I didn't and my latches kept popping off.
And yes, it rubs a little bit.
