Default Is Meziere Water pump worth it

I need to replace my water pump and its only about 150 dollars for a aftermarket water pump whereas the meziere is about 500-550 on the cheapest side is it really worth it? Plans for the car is high stall converter, big cam, and gears for mostly strip use.

I have the Meziere LS1 Race pump for 425 shipped with the fitting included.
There are always going to be cheaper versions of parts, some good some bad.

Whats the main difference in the two I see that the flow rating is less, the race version unsafe to drive on the street? Also does the belt and tensioner set-up need to be modified it doesnt appear like it has the idler like the more expensive one.

Has anyone installed this pump yet http://www.meziere.com/ps-828-0-WP119UHD.aspx
I was wondering what else must be done besides a different belt to install on a 99 fbody.
