Default Fixing to order LT's, what else is needed?

Ill be ordering some Pacesetters or BBK LT's next weekend, as i get paid this coming week. So with that being said, what else do i need to buy for this installation?? Ive got some extra money saved up for this.

I know, ill need some O2 Extensions, but is there anything else ill be needing?? If so, what? & where can i get them from??

Also, should i clamp down the header & catalytic converter instead of welding them together?? Ive got a Custom Catted Y Pipe on the car now, i wanna keep the cat's on but possibly get them gutted out. I want them for appearance so i can for sure, pass inspection.

Well the first thing that comes to my mind is that if you havent done it in awhile or EVER...then now would be a good time to switch out your plugs while you are installing those headers...

Yeaa, ive got that. The wires/plugs in my sig arent installed yet, decided to wait till i got some header's to do them. As far as installation of the header's goes, do i need anything else other then the extensions??

I just reuse the stock gaskets.

Also...invest in some band clamps....Much better than the cheap u-bolt clamps that come with the headers.

3" band clamps are only $8-12 at your local auto parts store.

Band clamps work really good, not always though. Mine leaked on me a couple of times. Good idea to swap the gaskets as well, if the stockers look fine though go ahead and reuse them.

Welding is the ONLY way to prevent leaks. It was worth it for me atleast.

Oh yea, beer as well.

When doing LTs it is sooooooooooooooooooo much easier to do poly motor mounts. Nothing will be in the way.

Here is a list

1) Poly Motor Mounts
2) 02 Extensions
3) GM Copper Gaskets
4) Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts
5) NGK TR55 Plugs
6) MSD Wires

I ALWAYS promote the hell out of WS6 store.. (Sponsor) Mike is the best. He always hooks me up, also being that WS6 store is in Iowa and i am in Illinois i ALWAYS get my shipments next day.
