if i remove the motor mount bolts?

Re: if i remove the motor mount bolts? if you unbolt all the bolts and nut it will not move(asumming the tranny is still attached) it will sit in there like you did nothing. you will have to rais the motor up ever so slightly and drop the mounts then you can lower the motor about 3- inches, i bottom out on the pan on the k member. trust me i had to do this a few times....

Re: if i remove the motor mount bolts? Dipstick in the trans-pan? Hold on, what kind of jack are you using- I assume you are on jackstands? Are you saying you can't get it to line back in the trans? I would seriously think twice about taking the motor mounts apart. What is going on?
