I have had mine off for about 80 000 miles with no problem engine codes or and ill effect. take it off looks bad and does nothing. gains in cleaning up engine bay are worth it alone!!

Post after Post, But no info on how to remove this ****, My Egr is throwin a code, Im not spending 355 bucks on a new one. Where can i find a diagram on what to take off, where to cut..And also how much does Tuning cost. What is tuning? can any good shop check out stuff and delete codes and Give it the tune up it needs?

As for removal: unbolt from exhaust manifold, from head, from intake manifold, unplug harness. Toss into garbage. Install cover plate on ex man, freeze plug in intake - or better yet, install LS6 manifold. Have code tuned out.

I have a 2000 trans am ws6 that I bought in tx with the egr system removed and have moved to Ca where I need it back. The pipe going to the manifold I can't find anywhere! Does anyone have one they don't need or know a source?? The # is 12559425. Thx

I copied your post over to the Parts Wanted forum where it should bring more action. I'm leaving it here, but in the future please don't revive old threads unless you have fresh content to add to the subject of the thread. Thanks!
