for my black SS when i get it. i want it super loud

SLP longtubes
custom true dual loudmouth 1
center mount exhaust

gonna be wicked loud

thanx. i cant wait to get the black ss to hear the setup i want! i love the sound of the LM1's. it should be killer loud with LT's and true dual setup

It is very loud for sure. A member name King Nothing has this setup and its loud as hell. I thought it would sound like **** but its not that bad. Mabe he'll chime in and post up a sound clip for you

i love the roar off the LM1 idle, let alone with LT's and true dual setup lol. did they change design of the LM1? if u find the clip, id appreciate it

The only thing that changed with LM is the I pipe is in 3 peices now so you can swap between LM1 and LM2 easily.

But I was refering to the SLP headers. Are you going with the new design or the old?

Sounds like my setup!

I have Hooker long tubes, Pacesetter Off road Y pipe, SLP Loudmouth 1 and adapted it to my factory SLP center mount exhaust tips...all I can say is...its ******* LOUD. It sounds nasty WOT tho.

do u get much rasp while moving up the rpms? just curious

im not so much worried bout the rasp because i just want that wicked idle

like half throttle, shifting around 2500rpms, its kinda raspy...but thats about it...Idle, it sounds like it has a small cam (well, mine does anyways cause the LS6) and WOT, it just sounds sick.

I have 2 friends that have vettes. One is a 06 cammed/nitrous C6 with full exhaust-B&B catback and the other is a cammed/nitrous/b&b full exhaust C6 Z06, and they said my car is just as loud as theirs, if not a little louder.

The LS6 cam doesn't sound any different than the LS1 cam.


Why not just put some cut outs after the headers, then you can make it quiet again after you get tired of it being loud. Because it does get old.
