TD's.

it just doesnt sound very good open, and closed is a little too quiet. i never tried like a half open or w/e, but i dont see that sounding good either.

Well,I've listened to clip after clip.. I've driven a Camaro SS with GMMG,it sounded good, but it was kinda garbly .. Don't know how to explain it.. All the rest of them had their own pro's and con's.. I ordered B&B Route 66 for my bro's 05 Vette. Sounds sweet..But they are made to order for the TA.. I heard clips on borla and I love the deep throaty sound alot.. We'll see..I may do 3/4 open..

well since you already ordered it obviously, just try the different plates. you should find something you like.

i dont have my tips bolted up, i prefer the dumped look on camaro's. also makes it easier to take the plate off and on. i just have wingnuts and a fabbed up plate since on mine. i didnt get any plates when i bought the car.

enjoy your $800 cutout.

the tips are nice, and the adjustability is nice. but those 2 things are attainable with exhaust 1/2 the $$.

TDs is the way to go if you want great sound

borla is a nice system, but i wouldnt spend the money for it. with cats it will sound pretty good. on a catless system i think they sound retarded. I dont like the idea of having a muffler on just 1 tailpipe...i think that is absolutely retarded.

I thought that too for a while, but I just love the sound and I'm not going to modify the car anymore..It will have stock manifolds and cats..Plus,at least it gives you the option to not use the muffler.. I had dynomax on 3 Iroc-z's and they had no muffler, what's the difference? I like the deep throaty tone and no GMMG doesn't sound like it..It has alot of garble. Everyone and their dog has it cause they are 18-25..I want a classier sound and Borla is it..JMO

I like mine. I run the QTP cutout where the plate would go. Nice to be able to choke it while Johnny Law is around and open her back up when I am cruising.

On a cold morning when I start her with the CO open she barks real good.

Its on and it sounded great with a 3/4 plate, and incredible with open plate..Guess which one is on there now? My mechanic that put it one 3 of my other employee's standing around just about crapped themselves when they heard it.. I made the right choice..!

I loved mine with manifolds....ran full open...

Now with LT's i ran it full open and the rasp was unbearable, sounded like a machine gun.... then i ran it 3/4's open, not much change....

Then i drilled a hole in the solid plate and run that, no rasp (except a TINY amount at a certain throttle lvl, only i can hear it) and full smooth tone all thru the RPM band....

Adjustable system for the win, but i think im seeing true duels in her future....

Yeah, I love mine- sounds 'tuned' or has a nice tone to it- makes you feel like you are playing a musical instrument with your foot-

5 minutes and I can make it stealth or obnoxious, with a couple steps in between- million mile warranty, too- stainless steel for the win!

I liked mine a little better with cats on....but it does sound mean as hell @ wot, just a certain RPM range and the rasp gets a bit annoying. I wouldn't get anything else however I am considering installing a Borla XR1 muffler where the intermediate pipe goes....seems to eliminate most if not all of the dreaded rasp, according to some anyway. Enjoy it!!

I'm glad all you guys like yours..I love mine also. What difference from stock.. My bro has B&B on his 05 Vette and they sound very close..His is smoother up the rpm's and mine is more throaty.. They are the right systems for each car.. I can totally tell the power difference also. The powerband changed more towards the midrange..If I didn't have 3:73's it would have pushed up higher and would have sucked.. This is perfect for the gears I have,I love it..
