LPP Stailess Headers and Y now in stock:)
The temp comparisons I have seen I believe were between a mild steel header uncoated and one that was coated. If they compared uncoated 3XX SS and a coated version I don't think there would be much of a difference.
The thing i am afraid of is i put them on without wrap and then it doesnt run right and i have to dump money into a tune and then just have to tuned back in two years for smog.
So I am thinking that if i wrap them while dry and then coat them with a high temp ceramic engine paint then that will keep the heat in and the paint will keep any moisture or oil from collecting on the wraping and rusting or starting a fire. Does that sound like a pretty decent decision?
